1. Data Collection

StitchQuote does not upload embroidery DST files. DST parsing is performed locally in the browser and within the app. Embroidery design files are never transmitted to our servers. No account is required to use the website.

2. StitchQuote Web

The Web tool opens DST files through the browser File API, calculates stitch count, dimensions, color stops, warnings, and preview data locally, and keeps that parsed state in browser memory for the active page session. The Web tool has no DST upload endpoint, server-side DST parser, server-side quote history, or pricing database.

Image Fixer resizes, composites backgrounds, converts, copies, and creates ZIP downloads locally in the browser. Pattern Finder processes selected preview images and builds its search index locally for the current session. Design files are not uploaded for processing.

3. StitchQuote for iOS

The iOS app is designed to open DST files, inspect designs, apply user-configured pricing rules, calculate quotes, and keep quote history and saved pricing settings locally on the device. The app does not require a cloud account for those local workflows.

4. Analytics

The website uses Vercel Web Analytics for page-view reporting and Google Analytics 4 for selected tool events when those production features are enabled. Google Analytics may use analytics cookies and receive ordinary browser and network information, such as device type and IP address. Advertising signals and enhanced automatic event measurement are disabled. Analytics are used to understand general website usage, tool usefulness, and outbound intent. Analytics do not include filenames, file paths, DST contents, exact stitch counts, exact design dimensions, preview images, embroidery data, coordinates, or file hashes. Analytics also do not collect image contents, design contents, clipboard contents, filenames, directory names, file paths, or embedding vectors from Image Fixer or Pattern Finder.

Optional tool feedback events contain only a helpful or not helpful choice and fixed categories such as tool, export method, and acquisition source. The acquisition category is kept in this browser tab for the session; full referral URLs and campaign values are not stored.

5. Third Parties

The website is hosted by Vercel. Vercel Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4 may process the limited usage telemetry described above. StitchQuote for iPhone is distributed through Apple's App Store, where Apple's own terms and privacy practices apply. No advertising or session-replay provider is used by this website.

6. Information We Collect

The Web tool does not ask for or create an account and does not collect a name, telephone number, contacts, photos, or device identifier through the DST workflow. If you contact support, your email address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to send may be processed to answer your request.

7. Data Retention

No embroidery design files are stored on our servers. Web file data remains in browser memory for the active session and is discarded when that page state is cleared or ends. Local iOS settings and quote history remain on the device until deleted according to the device or app behavior. Support email retention is controlled by the support process.

8. Children's Privacy

StitchQuote is a business and productivity tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly create accounts for children or intentionally request children's personal information.

10. Policy Updates

We may update this policy when the products, third-party services, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a new last-updated date.
