DST guide
How to open a DST embroidery file
A DST file can be inspected in a browser when you only need its stitch facts and a visual path preview.
DST is the supported format
StitchQuote Web supports Tajima `.dst` files for this inspection workflow. PES, JEF, EXP, and other formats are outside the current tool scope.
Open a file
Choose a `.dst` file in the free viewer. On desktop, drag and drop is also available. The browser reads the file through the File API, parses it in memory, and renders the preview locally.
What you can inspect
The result includes decoded normal stitch count, bounds-based design size, color-stop count, jumps, warnings, and a visual stitch path. It does not modify or upload your file.
